How Certifier integrates with ActiveCampaign
Certifier connects directly to ActiveCampaign and issues credentials when contacts enter a saved segment. You set the segment rules, so you can define eligibility for certified partners or active members, for example.
Once a contact meets the right conditions, Certifier creates a certificate or badge with their name and sends it to their email address. These credentials are generated from a reusable, white-label template that you customize once.
You choose the layout and branding, then leave dynamic fields for recipient details. Certifier fills those fields automatically for each contact, so each credential is personalized without manual exports or data entry.

Frequently asked questions
Yes, ActiveCampaign is available as a native Certifier integration, so you can connect it directly through the Certifier dashboard using your ActiveCampaign API URL and key.
The automation uses Contact Added to Segment as the trigger. External connectors like Zapier are also available and support different triggers, such as tag additions or contact changes.
A list primarily groups contacts who opted in for a specific communication type. A segment dynamically filters contacts based on conditions such as field values, tags, or actions, and updates as those conditions change.
Certifier’s native integration watches segment entry, so use a segment to define who qualifies for issuance.
Use Certifier with Zapier when you need a different workflow trigger from the one Certifier’s native integration provides.
Note that, unlike the native Certifier workflow, Zapier may require an additional monthly subscription. The free Zapier plan supports two-step Zaps and 100 tasks monthly; each successful action within a certificate workflow uses one task.
Yes. If you plan to issue Certifier certificates or badges, the workflow needs your contacts’ email addresses to send credentials to their inboxes. If no email address is available, Certifier skips the contact and logs an error.
Yes. Certifier’s free plan includes all available automations—both native and via Zapier—and up to 250 credentials yearly, plus customizable certificate templates and credential verification.
